On Thursday Phenomenon transformed the pool deck at Next Generation Kings Park in Perth into a mystical Arabian Nights themed setting for the re-branding of a local law firm.
The existing umbrella’s were turned into luxurious silk lined tents and staff were treated to henna artists and palm and tarot reading. Eclectic lanterns and palm trees all added to the eastern charm!
On Australia Day we produced an event for a large international company who thank their clients in the best way possible – with THE best view of the skyshow! The WA Rowing Club on Barrack Street Jetty in Perth is transformed every year with a floating pontoon over the river to allow guests to be right under the fireworks. 200 adults and 80 children enjoyed a night of great food, brilliant entertainment for the kids with a full pirates theme, and of course the Skyshow!
On Saturday 24th October the Burswood Grand Ballroom was transformed to celebrate the annual HIA Perth Housing Awards. A Night of Illusion was the theme and guests were entertained by a roving magician during pre dinner drinks, were surprised when the MC Tina Alteri magically appeared at the start of the night, were blown away by the genius of Soul Mystique and their costume changes and danced to the wee hours to the legendary sounds of Mental as Anything!
The room looked stunning and sparkled with star cloths, beaded curtain backdrop, huge beaded chandeliers in the ceiling and matching chandelier centre pieces. Our LED Trees around the room tied the look together.
We have purchased a whole range of new stock here at Phenomenon and it has all arrived over the last two weeks! Some of the items include : beaded curtains, chandelier centrepieces, cute elephant and kangaroo statues, a great skeleton pirate statue and gold award statues!

On Monday night Lion Nathan, AKA Swan Brewery, launched their latest product at the Villa Nightclub in Perth.
5 Seeds is a new cider set to take the market by storm! Phenomenon was brought on board to help deliver the new brand message to the guests. The theme was a modern twist on Adam and Eve and guests were greeted by stilt walkers and a classical trio with a harp, all in ethereal white costumes. As they entered the night club the new brand was displayed on an illuminated prop and promo girls were ready with samples. Inside we had a huge branded light up bar and LED trees with apples hanging from the branches.
Later in the evening a polaroid crew and snake handler wandered through the crowd interacting with the guests. Around the room were light up plinths with vases filled with fresh apples. The event was a huge success and watch out for it on your liquor store shelves!
On Monday 27th July Phenomenon recruited it’s next staff member!! Weighing in at 3.675kg, 49cm long, Jonah Cumming will be ready to start in approximately 18 years or so.

A conference is a conference, right? Wrong! You can engage your attendees on so many different levels. We have themed a conference at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre along the lines of survivor. In the current economic climate our client wanted to present the message that we all need to fight, using all our wits, to win and keep business.
We decked the room out in jungle backdrops with giant totem poles and fake flames. Each table had a centre piece of a tribal statue and the lecturn disappeared behind shield and masks!
It doesn’t always have to be just AV screen, projector and powerpoint presentation, think about all the different ways to get your message to sink in!
Saturday night saw the Housing Industry Association celebrate their Kitchens and Bathrooms Awards in funky 70’s style at the Astral Ballroom, Burswood in Perth.
The room was themed with disco balls from the ceiling, a stunning glitter backdrop of starcloth and silver disk curtains and a fabulous light up dancefloor for guests to boogie the night away on!
The centre piece on each table was a giant martini glass filled with brightly coloured gel.
Congratulations to all the winners and good luck to those representing WA in the National Awards!
On Saturday 23rd May we transformed the main arena at Challenge Stadium into a winter wonderland spectacular for Ernst and Young’s annual dinner.
Guests entered the room through the giant wardrobe filled with fur lined coats and wandered through fake snow and fog to be greeted by a white winter witch.
A live ice carving performance with a chain saw and beautiful light up trees and centre pieces set the scene for a great night.
Impressive costumes showed that this company possesses many brilliant minds!!
